    Who We Need...
    This position is responsible for all aspects of SMU Development, SMU Costing, and Mainline Costing, in collaboration with key partners, while maintaining alignment with the company strategy. Must ensure brand vision and product integrity standards are met while adhering to the Product Life Cycle calendar and meeting financial goals. Assuming responsibility for the overall aesthetic, quality of the product, driving costing, and SMU development.
Your Responsibilities...
  • Follow up on all development needs with regards to delivery, styles, fabric, quality, fabric availability, art development.
  • Partner with Production to ensure capacity and delivery needs are confirmed.
  • Execute all development sample needs, track samples, maintain SMU Tracking Report.
  • Communicate SMU needs with design; cads, graphic placements and tech packs as needed.
  • Develop art techniques as needed, following up on strike off for approvals to bulk.
  • Communicate any potential issues with cross functional teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong cross functional relationships for all SMU needs.
  • Set-up and maintain fabric and trim raw material ID’s and color codes in RLM, working closely with planning so logic and raw material reporting is cohesive.
  • Execute SMU costing and mainline costing, obtain approval, and communicate accordingly for style set-up in RLM.
  • 5+ year experience in women’s or juniors knitwear. Activewear knowledge a plus.
  • Experience with domestic production and some import.
  • Strong understanding of SMU process, BOM’s, tech packs, fittings, and sourcing fabric/trim.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Dropbox.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, is solutions oriented, a self-starter, and has strong work ethic.

    Beyond Yoga, a thriving athleisure brand, is seeking a Graphic Designer/Production Artist, to join the team during an exciting period of both aesthetic evolution and overall company growth. This person will work alongside a small group of creatives to develop and execute an assortment of digital and print assets. The highly-collaborative environment provides opportunities to engage in a variety of projects and facets of the business, allowing for both personal and professional growth. This position reports directly to the Art Director.
Your Responsibilities...
  • Design and execute compelling digital and print creative assets including, but not limited to, emails, linesheets, lookbooks, brand presentations, decks, etc.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in other departments - sales, product design and ecomm to ensure assets align with the brand’s evolving aesthetic
  • Adhere to the demands of a production schedule and be aware of release schedules and all relevant deadlines
  • Assist in the post-production process - including making image selects, color correction, managing assets
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure that all graphics/visual elements support a focused point of view
Your Requirements...
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or experience that is equivalent to that degree
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Background with an apparel, fashion or related consumer-goods brand is a plus
  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.). PowerPoint, Keynote and Asana a plus

    The Director of Social Media & Community Marketing is a key role responsible for driving the growth, development, execution and measurement of multi-platform social and blog strategies for BY. They will oversee and execute all BY social media programs and campaigns, crafting the overall content strategy roadmap and implementing it. This person must demonstrate significant knowledge and passion for Social Media including progressive tools, social influencer work, strategy, major + emerging social platforms, and the tactics necessary for delivery of complex Social programs. This role will oversee all efforts to improve the member experience through relevant and consistent social messages and content across all marketing channels (site, email, push, social media). Equally important, you will have a great sense of humor, a quick wit and a great creative eye.
  • Five years experience in professional social media, specifically (YT, Pinterest, IG, FB, Twitter)
  • Experience with social community management
  • Strong communication skills to work with internal and external customers
  • Extensive experience mapping social calendars and schedules
  • Experience sourcing and managing social content freelancers / influencers
  • Experience creating effective content for social and blogs

Essential Functions...
    Develop and implement creative and highly measurable social media programs and campaigns, with user engagement and experience in mind that aligns with BY’s digital and brand strategy.
  • Working closely with brand and eCommerce team - develop a weekly / monthly / quarterly planning cadence timed with seasonal campaigns
  • Work closely with the creative team to produce videos and assets that are unique to and effective for social channels

Seeking entrepreneurial, self-starting Senior Planning Manager with experience leading inventory planning, merchandising and forecasting for a wholesale and Ecommerce business. Ideal candidate will have effective cross functional communication and collaboration, ability to create and implement process and possess excellent excel skills with competence to create the forecasting tools necessary for top down/bottoms up SKU level forecasts and analysis. You should be analytical with strong excel and math skills but balanced with insight into trends and have a passion for the retail industry. This position will report directly to the COO while working consistently with other teams. You will work collaboratively to help guide the assortment and convey your opinion on the direction of the line. Your Responsibilities...
    As a Merchandise & Planning Manager, you’ll be a leading Key Analyst of fabric, finished goods, merchandise assortment, sku planning, inventory management and more.
Demand/Inventory Planning
  • Lead the finished goods and raw material demand forecasts for the company based on company financial targets, sales history, market trends and account sell-through data
  • Plan seasonal fabric buys to ensure that adequate fabric quantities are purchased to meet both wholesale and Ecommerce demands by product delivery dates
  • Flow finished goods and raw material needs on a time phased basis to maximize sales, limit liabilities and create cash flow efficiencies
  • Partner with Production team to ensure all demand needs are met
  • Manage cut log for out all non-seasonal cuts (smus, core)
  • Analyze/issue all cut requests by size based on sales order/ projections and historical selling by size
  • Work cross-functionally with both Manufacturing and Sales to create priorities and new ship dates when there are shortages
  • Partner with Customer Service on order management to ensure uncovered orders are being addressed and to maintain a clean order file
  • Create and manage ATS by subdivision
  • Manage and monitor core stock levels to ensure we have timely ATS
  • Leverage inventory between Ecommerce and Wholesale departments to maximize sales opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvement in our forecasting processes
  • Analyze and communicate inventory risks and opportunities
  • Partner with Ecommerce department to ensure buys align with Marketing strategies
Merchandise Planning
  • Create Seasonal Sales plans by Subdivision to achieve overall company financial objectives
  • Work with Sales and Production teams to determine pricing/costing to ensure structure aligns with company margin goals
  • Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities
  • Create and provide seasonal SKU plans based on historical selling and overall company SKU productivity goals
  • Analyze assortment mix to ensure the merchandise offering aligns with financial targets
  • Compile/analyze and communicate seasonal hind-sighting to key cross functional partners to drive future merchandising and planning strategies
Sales/Account Planning
  • Manage the development of annual and seasonal retail sales & receipt plans for planned accounts
  • Develop and communicate comprehensive financial and product strategies for planned accounts
  • Compile/analyze historic performance and planned strategies to identify areas of opportunity or risk
  • Develop, maintain and update tools, reports, etc to support the needs of the business
  • Provide ad hoc reporting on business performance
  • Partner with Sales department on building in season ATS based on existing orders and feedback from Market
  • Manage monthly account-level open-to-buy activities

    TRIMS BUYER - Culver City, CA
    As the Trim Buyer, you will supervise all aspects of the purchasing process. This includes placing and tracking materials orders, negotiating rates with suppliers, and managing the budget for all trim production. You will also be expected to track inventory levels, keep all purchase records and paperwork current, and adhere to the production calendar.
Your Responsibilities...
  • Create and place production trim PO’s and coordinate the distribution to contractors for production trim, inventory and allocation while prioritizing daily trim requisitions
  • Sourcing of new trim and other raw materials as needed
  • Identify, select and qualify vendors based on price and performance
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery terms & lead times
  • Work closely with Product Development and Production teams on new material, design and finished goods
  • Determine optimal stocking inventory levels & purchase quantities
  • Receive quotes and source for a supplier that suits the needs of the company (price, quality of the product and delivery time)
  • Receive and review all new assigned orders and purchase trims/supplies based on order needs
  • Keep control of inventory and clearance of the entire trim department
  • Keep records of purchase orders, ensuring they are received and paid accordingly
  • Prepare trim orders to supply to contractors when needed
  • Create compositions and care instructions for all materials
  • Maintain sample material, pricing and availability reference library
  • Provide daily, weekly, monthly reporting
  • Take on additional duties as needed
  • Minimum 3+ years experience and success in planning, purchasing and procurement
  • Apparel/garment industry experience preferred
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, Office, Outlook Excel
  • Capable of learning new programs as needed
  • Experience with RLM is a plus
