Maintaining a gluten-free lifestyle can be challenging, especially when it comes to finding tasty snack foods. That’s why I’ve rounded up 10 of the most amazing gluten-free products out there. From sweet cookies to savory chips, these snacks will have you forgetting all about the g-word.
Capello’s is truly the best in gluten-free, grain-free cookie dough. The pre-made dough is nutrient-dense and low-glycemic, which makes it paleo-friendly as well. You can eat it raw, mix it into ice cream or cut and bake it for fresh baked cookies.
If you don’t have time to bake cookies, there are also plenty of readymade options. I love to stock up on Karlie’s Kookies’ Perfect 10 Tin. These gluten-free, dairy-free oatmeal goodies are somewhere between a cookie and an energy bar. Even better? Each Perfect 10 provides ten school lunches to hungry children around the world.
Since we’re on the topic of cookies, I must mention Tate’s Cookies from Southampton, New York. They’ve baked their famous chocolate chip cookies (as well as their brownies) with rice flour for a special gluten-free option. Hint: their delivery packs make a thoughtful gift for loved ones with dietary restrictions.
Looking for a replacement for those unhealthy (but oh so nostalgic) strawberry Pop Tarts you grew up with? Look no further. Glutino makes a delicious, gluten-free alternative that both kids and adults will love. Plus, they’re actually a fantastic source of fiber. Win, win!
The name sounds fancy, but these crisps are basically gluten-free Doritos. Excited yet? You should be. Made from amaranth, quinoa, sesame, millet and black seeds, they have fewer calories, carbs and fat than regular chips. Try their Sea Salt and Jalapeno Cheddar flavors, as well. You can’t go wrong.
For those who love a little savory and a little sweet at the same time, all natural Dang Toasted Coconut Chips are a must! Buttery coconut toasted with cane sugar and salt is a winning combo. Plus, they’re vegan, cholesterol-free and a great source of fiber.
Finding gluten-free (and fat-free!) marshmallows can be tricky. Luckily, Elyon makes a delicious, healthy version that will satisfy both your sweet tooth and your gluten-free diet. Roast them over a campfire, dip them in fondue or eat them straight out of the bag.
For the raw food lovers out there, Alive & Radiant Kale Krunch is a delicious alternative to chips. Gluten-free, soy-free and dairy-free, the full kale leaves that have been dehydrated for a satisfying crunch. Even better? They are never baked or fried, so any fat comes from natural, heart-healthy nuts and seeds.
Not a fan of kale? That’s where Cheesy Herb Brussel Bytes come in. Each bag contains organic brussel sprouts, organic coconut and organic pumpkin seeds tossed in a tasty coating of goodness. And, of course, they are gluten-free.
Not all popcorn is created equal, especially the kind available at most movie theaters. That’s why I like to bring my own gluten-free popcorn with me. SkinnyPop is made with premium popcorn kernels, sunflower oil and the perfect amount of salt. And, you can always be certain their popcorn has no GMOs, gluten or preservatives.
