The Art of Manifestation

What do you want out of life? How do you turn your dreams into reality?

For me, the answers to these questions were 1) to become a creative consultant and kid’s yoga teacher, and 2) with 10 years of hard work and dedication! I can now say that my dream life has manifested, but it was not easy or quick. The art of manifestation requires much focus and strength through the ups and downs.

Here are some recommendations on where to start when pursuing your dreams — and how to stay on your path through the years.

First, get ready.

This is not going to be easy or happen overnight or even happen exactly as you expect it to happen. This is life. We need to let go and let the Universe take over. What we can start to do is help the Universe understand what we want out of our life and start emitting that frequency both energetically and physically. To get yourself into this mindset, read or download the book, The Secret by Rhonda Byrne.

Second, start manifesting.

When it comes to manifestation, no one does it better than Lacy Phillips, Manifestation Advisor and Founder of Free and Native, a holistic and modern guide to Manifestation. Whenever I need advice, recommendations or inspiration, I turn to her for her unique, talented and completely accessible way of manifesting our future through do’s and don’ts of list making and creating your dream life. Read anything and everything by her and be sure to book an appointment should you feel called to!

Third, write your morning pages.

According to the book, The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron, “morning pages” consist of writing three pages of longhand, stream of consciousness writing, done first thing in the morning. Write down everything that crosses your mind. This practice helps provoke, clarify, comfort, prioritize and synchronize the start of your day. Do this today, tomorrow and the next day. Keep it going and you’ll be surprised at what comes of this on a daily basis.

Fourth, meditate.

Meditation helps the mind, body and heart relax. It brings you back down from the chatter that goes on in the brain day after day. It creates an enlightened state of consciousness which helps to understand your truest self and your truest desires. I’ve received the most clarity and life guidance through two powerful kundalini kriya’s that I practice on a daily basis: Sobagh Kriya and Gyan Chakra Kriya. According to RAMA Institute, Sobagh Kriya, is an extremely effective practice to gain mental clarity, increase energy, and to align yourself with your highest destiny and greatest potential. Gyan Chakra Kriya completely transforms your life by brightening your halo and builds the aura to bring prosperity.

These techniques and tools helped me remain focused, clear and strong through the ups and downs that come with pursuing your dreams. Perhaps manifesting our dream life can best summed up with this quote from Art Williams, “I’m not telling you it’s going to be easy – I’m telling you it’s going to be worth it.”
